Kari and Dan's Snohomish Wedding

Have you ever heard the saying “Let the main thing be the main thing”? This spring wedding and sweet couple were the embodiment of that quote. It was obvious throughout planning with them and being a part of their wedding day that their love for each other was THE main focus. They didn’t care that the rain forced the ceremony inside and changed the look of the floral installation we had planned. The flowers weren’t the main thing. Where they got married wasn’t the main thing either. All of the elements of their day pointed back to how much they love each other. It was tangible as I worked inside of Dairyland, a Snohomish dairy barn turned wedding and event venue. From the way their people surrounded them, supported them and laughed with them, to the way they looked at each other. Straightforward, powerful, contagious love. While I love adding beautiful natural elements such as flowers and greenery to a wedding, even I can admit it’s not the focus. It’s the love between two sweet people, and the story that brought them together that is really the main thing!
