Yujia and Luke's PNW wedding at Woodinville Lavender

Yujia and Luke are the sweetest, kindest couple. When we first talked about their wedding details, the words they used to describe their overall vibe was rustic and romantic. Can I be honest with you….? The word rustic can be challenging for me. So I wanted to dive deeper into what that meant to them, and as we talked about the details of their wedding, I realized that their version of rustic was everything I could get behind.

Adjectives like ‘patina’ and ‘weathered’ and ‘natural’ were used. I quickly understood how we could achieve what they wanted, by focusing on lush romantic florals with elements of refined rustic textures. The centerpieces were in matte ceramic bowls from Hearth & Hand, small lavender plants for guests to take home were potted in weathered-style concrete pots, and the aisle was lined with woven baskets full of greenery and lavender. I’m so thankful these two trusted me to execute my ideas to achieve the look they wanted. And I’m so excited to share some of my favorite images, captured so beautifully by Aaron Liu Photography.
